Cut catfish feed cost with your own mix

Grower catfish need about 30% protein. Example 100 kg mix:

• P60 fish meal 20 kg
• Soybean meal 46% 30 kg
• Fine rice bran 20 kg
• Broken rice 22 kg
• Fish oil 2 kg
• Dicalcium phosphate 1 kg, premix 0.5 kg, and binder (tapioca starch) as needed

Use tuna soluble

Coat with 5–10% TS1 tuna soluble before pelleting or forming (cut the added salt a little). Fish feed faster and leave less behind.

Trial in a small pond first

Change the formula gradually and watch FCR against your current feed.
